How do students gain experience?
Students gain hands-on knowledge of several different aspects of the coaching profession.
They assist a member of SCL staff with selected coaching duties and learn about the administration side of the job.
At the end of their placement, students receive guidance from SCL staff as to how they can become a professional coach.
This includes discussing with them SCL's own vocational course, the NVQ Football Coaching programme, delivered at selected sixth form schools and colleges. |
