SCL plays an important role in the delivery of the Education through Sport programme, which uses sport, especially football, to introduce students to careers opportunities in the sports industry.
This is part of the government initiative to give all Key Stage 4 students access to five days of enterprise-based education.
The scheme uses football to create a physical and intellectual challenge within which students can discover and explore the concept of enterprise.
SCL's role is to run a week of football-based activities at schools to fit in with the timetable. Our expert coaches deliver practical and theory coaching sessions that cover a different area each day.
