NVQ Football Coach Education Programme
SCL delivers the NVQ Football Coach education programme as part of selected school sixth forms' and colleges' post-16 curriculum.
It is a full-time two year vocational course that uses the world's most popular sport to deliver Government-approved qualifications.
The course reflects an ethos that combines the promotion of sporting excellence with a range of vocational and academic qualifications. It fosters an in-depth knowledge of teaching, coaching and instructing, using principles that can be applied to any sport.
SCL manages and delivers all aspects of the course, which was described as 'Excellent, without any weaknesses' by an Ofsted report in March 2006.
